Job summary

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy seeks a dedicated High School Math Teacher for Aug Prep South Campus. Full-time, 10-month schedule; report to High School Principal.

You will deliver rigorous Algebra through Calculus instruction, differentiate for varied learners, and prepare students for AP exams while integrating technology. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics, with a Master’s preferred, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• State teaching license not required.
• Proven experience teaching high school math.
• Experience teaching AP/Honors math a plus.
• Active participation in a Christian church.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction for Algebra I–Calculus.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs (IEP/ELL).
• Use data to modify instruction and adjust groups.
• Prepare students for exams (SAT/ACT/AP).
• Integrate technology to enhance math learning.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
