Qualifications

• Master's degree in education administration or related field required.
• Minimum seven years of related experience with at least five years in secondary school administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current South Carolina certification as a Secondary Principal required.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of the instructional program, school environment and the school's operational/fiscal health.
• Leads implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the high school curriculum to align with SC CCR standards across all subjects.
• Supervises, monitors, and coaches staff with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Oversees professional development of teachers and staff, including supervision and evaluations.
• Supports district and school strategic planning aligned with district goals and accreditation processes.
• Fosters a collaborative environment and accountability for student achievement.
• Manages resources and operations to ensure a safe, high-performing learning environment.
• Collaborates with families and diverse community stakeholders to support teaching and learning.
• Provides instructional leadership based on current research and best practices for student achievement.
• Coordinates movement of resources to ensure health, safety and productive learning.
