Job summary

Career Prep Schools seeks a High School Intervention Specialist to support students at Cascade Career Prep. You will provide specially designed instruction, guide at-risk students toward graduation and career readiness, and collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficient with Google Suite, MS Office, email and internet applications.
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction in the resource room or general education classrooms.
• Design and facilitate in-person and online individualized educational support services.
• Maintain a caseload of advisees, review Grad Planners, and track IRC participation.
• Teach and/or facilitate Industry Recognized Credential(s) within the building.
• Use data (EOC and STAR) to personalize instruction and address learning gaps.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with students and families.
