Job summary

FusionEd/Career Prep Schools is seeking an Intervention Specialist to provide targeted instructional support and case management for students with IEPs. You will collaborate with teachers to tailor lessons, track progress, and facilitate career readiness through CTE credentials.

You will help students recover credits, improve attendance, and prepare for graduation while upholding confidentiality and professional standards in a dynamic Ohio educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting diverse learners and ensuring IEP alignment.
• Ability to collect and interpret student data to guide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction in the resource room or General Education classrooms per IEP.
• Design and facilitate in-person and online individualized educational support services.
• Maintain a caseload of advisees and monitor Grad Planners, Success Plans, IRC participation.
• Teach Industry Recognized Credential programs during the CTE block.
• Employ data (including EOC and STAR) to personalize instruction and address gaps.
• Establish positive rapport with students and families and support retention events.
