Job summary

Madison District #12 is seeking an instructional coach to collaborate with teachers to promote student and educator growth. You will support best instructional practices, data analysis, PLCs, and school improvement, designing instruction, curriculum, and assessments centered on student outcomes.

The role emphasizes student-centered coaching across content areas and partnerships with building administration to lead the school improvement plan.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in educational discipline preferred.
  • Teaching Certification in a Secondary Subject (Grades 6–12).
  • MV Driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.
  • Extensive successful teaching experience, preferably in more than one subject area and grade level (7+ years).

Job description

Under the general supervision of the Curriculum Director, the instructional coach will work as a colleague with teachers to support student and educator growth. Regularly, the coach will assist teachers and administrators by providing support and teacher leadership in the areas of best instructional practices, data analysis, Professional Learning Communities, and school improvement. The coach will work closely with teachers to collaboratively design instruction, curriculum, and assessments that focus on achieving student outcomes.The instructional coach will have a laser focus, in all content areas, on learning, results and collaboration working alongside teachers using student-centered coaching; and, closely with building administration to provide leadership with the school improvement plan.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in educational discipline preferred
  • Teaching Certification in a Secondary Subject (Grades 6 through 12)
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
  • Extensive successful teaching experience, preferably in more than one subject area and grade level preferred (7year minimum classroom teaching in public education)
Salary/Benefits

Salary: Determined by graduate degrees/hours and level of experience.FY 26Teacher Salary Schedule

  • Salary Schedule for 2025-2026SY: Step 1 Salary Range: $43,881 - $49,976 (Bachelors - Masters+30 for a 180 day contract plus 10 additional days to be paid at a per diem rate.

*NOTE: Madison District #12 recognizes all years of certified full time years of service when placing teachers on the salary schedule.
