Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred with 3+ years of full-time teaching experience.
• District of Columbia teaching license or eligibility.
• Two years of verifiable teaching experience as a teacher of record.
• Enrollment in teacher education or certification program may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instruction that helps students meet grade-level standards.
• Maintain thorough IEP records and communicate progress with families.
• Monitor English Learner progress and provide necessary accommodations.
• Collaborate with a team to plan and support students’ learning goals.
• Prepare and deliver instruction that is engaging, rigorous, and inclusive.
