Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a High School Teaching/Career & Technical Education instructor for the HVAC program at Bogota Jr/Sr High School. This role focuses on providing hands-on training and industry-based instruction to help students gain essential skills in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

The ideal candidate will possess or be willing to obtain the appropriate NJDOE certification and have a degree in a related field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations are a must.

The salary range is $52,700 - $112,200 based on experience, certifications, and advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Possess or be willing to obtain the NJDOE CTE Instructional Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
• Possesses a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field or evidence of employment history of 4 years (8,000 hours).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare students for careers in HVAC with hands-on training and industry-based instruction.
• Provide essential skills in system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical components, safety procedures, and energy efficiency practices.
• Develop problem-solving, technical, and customer service skills needed in skilled trades.
