KIPP Miami seeks an experienced High School Geometry Teacher to design and deliver a rigorous, college‑prep Geometry program. You will lead Geometry Honors, Advanced Geometry, and pathways toward AP Calculus, IB, and Dual Enrollment, integrating CTE strands like CAD and engineering.

The role emphasizes data‑driven planning, culturally responsive instruction, and collaboration with families to support every student’s growth. A Florida teaching license in Mathematics is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Math/Math Education or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of full-time high school math teaching experience.
  • Experience delivering rigorous Geometry instruction and pathways (AP/AICE/IB/Dual Enrollment).
  • Valid Florida Educator Certificate (or eligibility) in Mathematics (6–12).
  • Strong data literacy and proficiency with instructional tech.
  • Commitment to completing CTE coursework and state CTE exams within 24 months.
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance.
  • Experience integrating CTE content and preparing students for industry certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach Geometry curriculum aligned to Florida BESt standards.
  • Develop unit plans integrating reasoning, proofs, trigonometry, and transformations.
  • Use graphing software, GeoGebra, CAD tools, and design challenges.
  • Implement inquiry-based, project-based learning with real-world applications.
