Job summary

KIPP Miami seeks an experienced High School Geometry Teacher to deliver a rigorous, college-preparatory Geometry program in Miami, FL. You will guide Geometry Honors, Advanced Geometry, and pathways toward Algebra II Honors, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus and related math sequences.

The role integrates career and technical education (CTE) strands such as architecture, engineering, CAD, and design challenges, with data-driven instruction and strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is required.
Two years of full-time high school math teaching experience preferred.
Valid Florida Educator Certificate (or eligibility) required or eligible.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach a rigorous Geometry curriculum aligned to BESt standards.
Develop unit plans integrating proofs, coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
Incorporate GeoGebra, CAD tools and tech-enabled design challenges.
Implement inquiry-driven, project-based learning and real-world applications.
