Job summary

KIPP Miami in Miami, FL is seeking a devoted Middle School Math Teacher to guide students toward college readiness. You will build strong relationships with students, families and the community while delivering math instruction that fosters achievement and a foundation for future success.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, state certification (or active process), and a minimum of two years of teaching experience with diverse learners. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Create, internalize, modify and prepare lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Use data to drive instruction and monitor mastery of skills.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support student progress.
• Maintain classroom management and establish a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to diagnostic and progress monitoring testing.
• Track student progress and adjust lessons to meet objectives.
• Update performance trackers and inform lesson planning with data.
• Participate in school, department and parent meetings.
• Engage in school events and programs beyond regular hours.
