Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking an Assistant Football Coach for the Vancouver Public Schools. The selected candidate will provide a comprehensive athletics program, conducting practices and overseeing game strategies for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualified applicants should have recent coaching experience, knowledge of the sport, and strong organizational and leadership skills. The coach will be expected to work collaboratively with students and parents in a diverse environment and adhere to WIAA policies.

Qualifications

• Recent coaching experience with K-12 athletes preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to work cooperatively with culturally diverse students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive athletics program including practices and games.
• Educate and develop athletes in compliance with WIAA policies.
• Organize, supervise, and evaluate practice sessions.

Education

Current First Aid and CPR certification
