Job summary

DeKalb County Central United School District seeks a Treasurer for DeKalb High School to oversee financial operations, including Extracurricular Accounts, deposits, disbursements, and reporting.

Under the supervision of the principal and district business office, you will maintain records, ensure Indiana compliance, and support staff with internal controls and timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, and financial recordkeeping.
• Strong numerical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for Extracurricular Accounts (ECA).
• Receive, deposit, and safeguard funds from school activities.
• Prepare deposits and process disbursements with proper approvals.
• Reconcile bank statements and ECA records on a timely basis.
• Prepare financial reports for Principal and district office.
• Assist with audits, exams, and internal control reviews.
