Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate and Subject Matter Specialization Endorsement or eligibility to meet Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status

Responsibilities

• Promotes active learning using board-adopted curriculum and other appropriate activities
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials with individualized and small group instruction
• Sets objectives in lesson prep and weekly plans and ensures these objectives are met
