Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Tennessee educator license with endorsement for the assigned grade level/subject.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Tennessee Academic Standards and high school curriculum.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, technology, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, colleagues, admins, and support staff.
• Meets physical and other requirements to perform duties.

Responsabilités

• Plans and delivers instruction for grades 9–12 aligned with Tennessee standards and district curriculum.
• Develops rigorous, relevant units and lessons for high school students.
• Uses diverse instructional strategies and technology to engage students and meet standards.
• Differentiates instruction and provides accommodations and supports as needed.
• Uses assessments and data to monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Maintains attendance, grades, records, and documentation per policy.
• Communicates progress to students and parents in a timely manner.
• Maintains a safe, inclusive classroom with clear expectations and procedures.
• Collaborates with staff to address student needs and improve outcomes.
• Participates in PLCs, faculty meetings, and professional development.
