Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Tennessee educator license with endorsements for grades 9-12 or equivalent authorization.
• Knowledge of Tennessee Academic Standards and high school curriculum.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, technology, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, colleagues, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers instruction for grades 9-12 aligned to standards and district curriculum.
• Develops units and lessons that are rigorous, relevant, and developmentally appropriate.
• Uses assessments and data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Communicates student progress with families in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, inclusive classroom and collaborates with support staff.
• Participates in professional learning and district-wide initiatives.
