Job summary

STEM Preparatory Academy in Nashville is seeking an English Language Learner Teacher for a full-time, in-person 10-month role starting at $56,291. The ELL teacher will plan and deliver instruction for 9th–12th grade, support ELL students, and collaborate with colleagues using Google Suite and school systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education or related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3 of 4 classes on an alternating A/B 90-minute block schedule.
• Facilitate one 30-minute Personalized Learning Time (PLT) block for intervention or enrichment.
• Engage in curriculum planning with department and submit weekly lesson plans.
• Track and analyze student data using school-wide systems and maintain timely grade submissions.
• Implement supports for English Language Learners (ELL) and diverse learners.
• Use instructional technology platforms (Google Suite, Infinite Campus, Kickboard) to support instruction.
