Job summary

Qualified candidates hold a Massachusetts DESE English 5-12 license with SEI endorsement, 1-5 years teaching, and must pass CORI/background checks.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE License in English (5-12) is required.
• SEI endorsement required.
• 1-5 years teaching experience preferred.
• Proficiency in diverse writing instruction and strong classroom management.
• Successful completion of CORI and fingerprint-based background check.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum mastery of MA English Language Arts standards.
• Guide students through the writing process to produce high-quality work.
• Engage diverse learners in an inclusive classroom and differentiate instruction.
• Use data to inform lesson planning and instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with co-teachers, grade-level teams, and departments.
