Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Educational Diagnostician for a full-time placement in a Texas high school, starting August 2026. You will work five days a week with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and success.

Qualifications

• Requires current Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• Experience as an educational diagnostician in a high school or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of special education law, assessment procedures, and IEP development.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret assessment results and translate data into practical recommendations for educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop, review, and revise IEPs
• Provide detailed recommendations to inform instructional strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and district requirements
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, offering insight and guidance on testing results and eligibility
• Serve as a resource for staff in matters related to assessment, learning differences, and special education compliance
