Job summary

You will develop detailed assessment reports, participate in ARD meetings, and communicate findings to educators and families. The position runs on a school-year contract through late May, with a steady, supportive district environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification required.
• Experience in Texas public schools strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ARD meetings and evaluation procedures; ability to interpret and communicate assessment data effectively.
• Willingness to work onsite, 40 hours per week, at a middle school campus.
• Fingerprinting and district background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop detailed and accurate reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations.
• Actively participate in ARD meetings, collaborating with an ARD Specialist.
• Provide guidance and consult with educators and families to foster supportive learning environments.
• Maintain accurate records and meet established timelines for assessments and reporting.
• Adapt to evolving caseloads and stay updated with best practices in educational diagnostics.
