Job summary

Harmony Schools Network is seeking an Educational Assistant to support teachers and students across network schools. You will reinforce lessons, provide in-class or small-group support, supervise students, and help with classroom routines and behavior.

Required: love for children, experience in a school setting, a Bachelor’s degree (education preferred) and enrollment in an education program; Spanish bilingual is desired; flexibility to travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Love for children (required).
• Experience working in a school setting (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferable in education).
• Enrollment in an Education Preparation Program (preferred).
• Bilingual / bi-literate in Spanish (desired).
• Must be flexible and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups.
• Deliver tailored teaching activities to students one-to-one, small group, or whole group.
• Maintain order and support social/emotional development in pupils, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Be flexible with assignments across schools and assist with substitute/office duties.
