Job summary

Roseville Area Schools is seeking a DCD Special Education Teacher at Roseville Area High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This 1.0 FTE role requires leadership in IEP management and collaboration with staff to support students with disabilities.

The teacher will develop and provide instruction aligned to Minnesota standards, evaluate student progress, and communicate with parents while coordinating services with paraprofessionals and other providers.

Qualifications

• MN Teaching License in Special Education, Developmental Delays is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives.
• Follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.
• Collaborates with service providers and other staff.
• Communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals.
