Job summary

Flex High School seeks a part-time School Counselor to support students across multiple sites in Ohio, including Franklinton, Reynoldsburg, and Ross Center Locations. Travel between sites may be required. Position funded by IDEA grant; compensation starts at $30.83 per hour.

As a School Counselor, you will guide students academically and personally, helping them graduate high school despite obstacles. Emphasis on student growth and confidence.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree in School Counseling is required.
• Valid Ohio Pupil Services License in School Counseling.
• Experience with individual and group counseling sessions.
• Experience working with at-risk student populations.
• Experience with prevention, intervention, developmental, and crisis counseling.
• Strong collaboration with teachers and school personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support students using ASCA National Model components (Guidance Curriculum, Individual Planning, Responsive Services, Referral, Consultation, Collaboration).
• Assist students with barriers hindering progress toward diploma completion.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide strategies, support, and resources.
