Job summary

Flex High - Columbus seeks a Principal to lead the instructional program and manage school operations across multiple sites, including Franklinton, Reynoldsburg and Ross Center. The role may require travel between locations to meet site needs.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, teaching background, and collaboration with supervisors to support staff development and student outcomes. Flexible, year-round operation with substantial breaks is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Valid Ohio Professional Teaching License preferred or Ohio Resident Educator License preferred.
• Valid Ohio Professional Administrator License preferred, or enrolled in an approved preparation program preferred.
• Prior teaching experience required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a School Administrator/leadership role.
• Proficient in student information systems (SIS).
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as instructional leader and chief administrator for designated school(s).
• Direct instructional program and overall management of school facilities.
• Supervise certificated and classified employees.
• Collaborate with area supervisor/leadership to empower staff.
• Lead year-round operations with holidays and breaks.
