Job summary

South Asian Youth Action (SAYA) is seeking a part-time Club Advisor for High School programs at Richmond Hill, Queens. The role supports expanded learning time, leadership development, and culturally relevant workshops for NYC youth.

You will collaborate with SAYA staff and school partners to plan activities, recruit participants, and provide mentorship. Bilingual abilities are highly preferred, with strong outreach and public speaking skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Punjabi, Arabic) are highly preferred.
• Experience with workshop facilitation and youth mentorship.
• Experience developing curricula and SEL-based programming.
• Strong outreach and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate lesson plans and culturally relevant workshops.
• Recruit, retain, and engage program participants; oversee outreach.
• Mentor students and support leadership development and SEL goals.
• Coordinate with school staff and SAYA to execute Community School initiatives.
