DSST Public Schools in Denver seeks a Center Program Special Education Teacher for our MI-A High School program at Conservatory Green High School. You will lead instruction and case management within a center-based program serving students with disabilities, designing targeted academic, behavioral, and life-skills instruction, and supervising paraprofessionals.

Qualifications

• Must hold Colorado Special Education Endorsement and teaching license.
• Ideal candidate will have a commitment to serving students of color, multilingual learners, and experience with positive behavior supports.
• Experience with MTSS and collaboration with families is valued.

Responsibilities

• Be an IEP Case Manager for a portfolio of students, writing data-driven IEPs, developing goals, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families.
• Partner with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications with fidelity.
• Supervise and develop a team of paraprofessionals.
• Deliver rigorous, culturally responsive content aligned to DSST curriculum across 3–5 classes daily.
• Track student growth using assessments to guide instruction.
• Promote positive culture and build trusting relationships with students and families.
• Engage in regular professional development focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
• Support school duties such as recruitment, small-group advisory, and after-school tutoring.
