Job summary

NC Community Colleges seeks an Executive Director of Student Services for the Havelock area. The role will lead programs helping high school learners prepare for college and careers, advising students, and coordinating pathways awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution.
• Two years’ experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education.
• Preferred: experience with career services.
• Preferred: experience with Colleague.

Responsibilities

• Supports outreach efforts involving high school learners to raise career awareness and enrollment.
• Supports students’ efforts for career pathways and enrollment.
• Coordinates events to promote awareness of career pathways.
• Works with high school/college personnel to share career pathway information.
• Maintains proactive communication with students, faculty, staff and parents.
• Organizes campus tours and student advising sessions.
