Job summary

Poudre School District seeks an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach to support the C Team at Fossil Ridge High School. You will help develop players, run practices, and reinforce fundamentals while adhering to CHSAA and PSD policies.

Responsibilities include supervising athletes, coordinating schedules with the Head Coach, and maintaining equipment and safety standards. Requires coaching experience, appropriate licenses, and mandatory safety trainings before the season begins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Teaching license or CHSSA coach certification required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required before coaching starts.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Concussion and other required trainings completed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with practice sessions to develop sport skills and sportsmanship.
• Supervise student athletes before, during, and after events and ensure safety.
• Attend and monitor practices and games.
• Communicate athlete and parent expectations including schedules, academics, respect and dedication.
• Follow CHSAA and PSD guidelines.
• Assist with equipment inventory, maintenance and locker-room supervision.
• Communicate safety concerns and injuries to Head Coach and Athletic Director.
• Adhere to district facility use procedures and arrive on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
