Job Description

We are actively hiring a High School Biology Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year!

• This position requires a combination of both school experience and passion for teaching.
• A Village School teacher should be knowledgeable about not only his or her department and the curriculum developed there but about the school environment as a whole. They should be able to provide information about special programs offered as well as the philosophy of the school itself.
• A Village School teacher should be a proponent of the school and willing to talk about the school in a positive light to all constituents.
• A Village School teacher should work cooperatively and collectively with school Directors, Instructional Coach, Coordinators, Department Heads, and other Teachers to ensure that instructional programs are coordinated and are administered uniformly and equitably in alignment with desired outcomes.
• We're looking for a candidate who genuinely cares about their students and is passionate about shaping the next generation – not only through classroom instruction but also through extracurricular activities and involvement. The ideal candidate will be able to connect with students of all ages and help them to grow academically, personally, and socially!
