Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR/AED must be a hands-on training course, not online.
• Valid TB test, fingerprint clearance, Keenan courses, and all other AUSD mandated certificates.
• All coach clearance certifications and requirements as stated on the AUSD website.
• High School Coaching experience within the last two years; High School Age Club Coaching experience preferred.
• Letters of introduction and recommendations are preferred.
• Resume with 2–3 references included.

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamental skills and drills of baseball.
• Instruct players in the rules and equipment of the sport.
• Model sportsmanlike conduct toward players, officials, spectators and families.
• Willingness to work in a group coaching environment.
• Provide academic advising to each player and track academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with Athletic Director, Administration, Teachers and Parents.
• Fundraise for the program as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
