Job summary

Alameda Unified School District seeks an athletic coach to mentor student-athletes across our district, focusing on character development, teamwork, and positive engagement within a group coaching setting.

The ideal candidate has CPR/First Aid, concussion and coaching training, a valid California driver’s license, at least four years of competitive playing experience, and one year of coaching experience. Credentialing is not required.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Concussion Training required.
• Coach Training required.
• Valid California Driver’s License required.
• Need not hold a credential.
• Minimum 4 years of competitive playing experience at high school/college/club level.
• Minimum 1 year of coaching experience.
• Willingness to holistically develop student-athletes in a positive manner and to prioritize character development.
