Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Teacher Certification in PE (preferred).
• Supervisor/Director Certification (preferred).
• Strong administrative and management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience coordinating high school athletics programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the high school athletic program; assist with schedule planning and transportation.
• Serve as registrar for student athletes; ensure eligibility and collect fees.
• Attend afterschool and weekend athletic events as assigned.
• Assist with annual athletic budget preparation, monitor expenditures and purchase orders.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring of coaches; supervise and evaluate staff.
• Support instructional leadership for the District’s Physical Education department.
• All other reasonably related duties as assigned.
