Job summary

The ROCORI Public School District is seeking a head coach for the high school athletic program. The role entails teaching fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training while fostering character, self-discipline, and pride of accomplishment among student-athletes.

The coach will pursue ongoing professional development through clinics, observations, and consultation, under the supervision of the athletic director and high school principals.

Qualifications

• Organize and supervise athletic activity programs.
• Coaching experience with yearbook or kids preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the sport's technical aspects.
• Continuously updates theory and procedures in the field.
• Demonstrates appropriate student-athlete role modeling.

Responsibilities

• Follow athletic policies approved by ROCORI Board of Education.
• Interpret regulations and communicate them to staff.
• Refer requests or grievances through proper channels.
