Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks an Athletic Trainer to support Plymouth High School student athletes in Canton Township, Michigan. You will provide athletic training services and coordinate care with HFH staff to support health and performance.

You’ll work closely with a HFH physician team, educate on long‑term wellness, and expand services beyond the school through clinics and community events. A strong team-based environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Board of Certification (ATC) and Michigan state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before hire).
• A post‑professional master’s degree in athletic training or related field is preferred; two years of experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to Plymouth High School student athletes.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Plymouth High School to coordinate appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with Henry Ford Health team physician and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Deliver individualized care to help athletes reach peak performance and promote wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and long‑term wellness.
• Expand services beyond the school, including physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
