Job summary

Henry Ford Health, in partnership with East Jackson High School, is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to advance student-athlete health, performance, and safety. You’ll lead injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation, and serve as a critical link between the school and Henry Ford Health.

You’ll maintain medical records, collaborate with coaches and healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with NCAA/NJCAA/MHSAA policies while supporting community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• ATC certification and Michigan state licensure required or eligible.
• Master’s degree in athletic training preferred; 2+ years experience.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Knowledge of NCAA/NJCAA/MHSAA policies; support community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with policies
• Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and health care professionals
• Serve as liaison between school athletic department and Henry Ford Health
