Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic Athletic Trainer to support a maternity leave at a high school, with subsequent assignments expanding to community outreach across Michigan. You will provide athletic training services, coordinate appointments within the health system, and collaborate with HFH physicians to deliver integrated care in settings ranging from high schools to universities.

Qualifications

• Board of Certification (ATC) and Michigan licensure or eligibility.
• Master’s degree preferred; 2 years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of NCAA/NJCAA/MHSAA policies; community outreach experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to athletes and patients.
• Be the liaison to coordinate appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with HFH physicians and healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Deliver individualized care for injuries and wellness to help athletes reach peak performance.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promoting long-term wellness.
• Expand services beyond school settings to physician clinics, outreach, and events.
