Job summary

South San Francisco Unified School District is seeking an Athletic Trainer at El Camino High School. The role provides sports medicine services, injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation for student-athletes, under supervision of the Athletic Director.

Responsibilities include coordinating with coaches, physicians, and parents, maintaining HIPAA/FERPA records, and delivering treatment and rehabilitation as directed by a physician.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education program or equivalent field.
• ATC credential from the Board of Certification.
• At least one year working in athletic training.

Responsibilities

• Provide sports medicine services including injury prevention, recognition, assessment and evaluation.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director to deliver training services at events and practices.
• Maintain records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education program or equivalent field

Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC) by BOC

Minimum one year experience in athletic training
