Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a teacher & high school coach preferred along with current CPR and Basic certification.
• An earned baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Arizona teaching, administrative or supervisory credential authorizing service as a secondary level teacher, administrator or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the high school's interscholastic sports programs and activities.
• Coordinate athletic facilities usage and develop athletic schedules; report results to the AIA in a timely manner.
• Hire, supervise, educate and evaluate coaches and the school equipment manager following PVUSD HR policies.
• Oversee risk management and safety related to athletic programs and facilities and ensure compliance with PVUSD and AIA policies.
