Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal with program planning, supervision and evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records of programs and projects and report as required.
• Interact with students to promote positive attitudes toward school programs.
• Help faculty solve instruction-related problems.
• Utilize district staff and resources to improve the instructional program.
• Facilitate teacher implementation of concepts across instructional areas.
• Conduct observations and conferences for diagnostic feedback for growth.
• Lead staff development activities and provide support materials.
• Implement a discipline system for a productive campus environment.
• Support learning environment and maintain campus climate.
• Exhibit high professional and ethical standards.
• Communicate and interpret district goals and policies to staff.
• Support collaborative decision-making and professional interactions.
• Maintain poise and professional appearance in varied situations.
• Communicate TEA regulations and school goals to publics.
