Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field required.

• Experience in special education or 853 school preferred.
• Knowledge of New York State SPED practices and policies required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in HS classrooms; handle HR and staffing duties.
• Coordinate electives and CTE courses with teachers.
• Serve as primary parent contact for high school students.
• Act as curriculum coordinator for grades 9–12.
• Oversee assessments, including Regents exams.
• Ensure students have courses, credits and meet graduation requirements.
• Coordinate with placing CSEs and external partners.
• Collaborate with school leadership to shape the education program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
