Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools is seeking a part-time athletic coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games, work with multicultural student groups, and maintain high academic and athletic standards. Strong collaboration with head coaches and assistants is essential.

Preference given to candidates with high school coaching experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and availability may include afternoons at 3:30 PM on weekdays

Qualifications

• Prefer candidate with high school coaching experience.
• Must be willing and able to work with students from multicultural backgrounds.
• Commitment to developing positive working relations with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Available at 3:30 PM Monday–Friday afternoons if not FWCS teacher.

• Instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games.
• Maintain high expectations academically and athletically.
• Utilize and coordinate with head coaches and assistants.
• Obtain SPB/Minibus certification before season.
