Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform routine and complex obstetric and abdominal imaging. You will acquire and process exams, select proper protocols, and collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine providers to ensure accurate interpretations.

As part of the team, you will review labs and patient history to determine the best imaging approach, transfer data to PACS, and maintain equipment as required to support patient safety and departmental productivity.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Radiologic Technology certificate.
• RDMS certification within 1 year (ABDOMEN or OB/GYN).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex sonography imaging by acquiring and processing patient exams.
• Selects proper sonography protocols and techniques to obtain optimal data.
• Reviews cases with the Maternal Fetal Medicine provider when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and other digital and reporting systems.
