Job summary

Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, TX is seeking an experienced RN for High Risk Labor & Delivery on the Day Shift. The role includes 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

You will provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients, monitor maternal/fetal vitals, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans. Relocation to Odessa, TX is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• COAP and Suicide Prevention courses completed.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum unit.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about pregnancy complications, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency protocols.
• Support patients emotionally and psychologically during prolonged hospital stays or complex pregnancies.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
