Job summary

RXR is seeking an experienced Superintendent in New York to oversee the physical execution of interior construction projects. You will manage field forces, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure schedules, budgets, safety, and quality align with milestone dates.

Maintain relationships with owners, architects, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope. You will direct site operations, review plans, monitor compliance with specifications and RXR safety standards, and lead weekly

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; education and work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience in high-rise and large interior projects preferred.
NYC Site Safety Manager License preferred.
Completed OSHA 30 training, working toward an SST card.

Responsibilities

Attend kick‑off meetings with subcontractors to review scope and shop drawings.
Prepare and monitor schedules, including material delivery, subcontractor work plans, and inspection schedules.
Participate in and schedule meetings, including weekly coordination and safety meetings.
Assist with estimating costs, managing at‑risk work, and negotiating change orders.
Identify and manage RFIs and submittals to meet project schedule.
