Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Jacksonville, FL seeks a forklift operator to move products and materials using stand-up reach forklifts while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities include putting away and picking palletized units, recording item details via RF system, loading/unloading materials, maintaining equipment and batteries, and collaborating with teams in cold or dry storage environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and leave equipment at charging station.
