Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Gathering Technician to operate and maintain a pipeline gathering system, minimizing downtime and ensuring low system pressures with prompt producer feedback.

The role involves data gathering, daily reporting, and coordination of shutdowns, lockout/tagout, and maintenance in line with DOT and OSHA regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant tech training, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in mechanical/energy field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years stable work history, energy industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must read prints, drawings and technical manuals and prepare technical reports.
• Basic math and computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pipeline shutdowns, leak repair, and line pressure maintenance.
• Coordinate tie-ins; lockout/tagout and purge/packing pipelines.
• Gather data and complete daily reports.
• Maintain rights-of-way and related operational tasks.
• Operate and inspect high pressure pipelines, valves, regulators and instrumentation per DOT/OSHA.
