Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Midland, TX, seeks a Field Operator – Gas Gathering (Gathering Technician) to independently manage gathering systems, liquid lines, compressor sites and related equipment.

Responsibilities include line pressure maintenance, leak detection, and safety procedures, with opportunities to interact with landowners and other field personnel. The role emphasizes reliability, problem-solving, and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, with a focus on efficient operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years stable work history, preferably in energy.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to read prints, drawings and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform line pressure maintenance and hydrate removal.
• Coordinate system shutdowns for repairs.
• Monitor equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot abnormal operations and adjust as needed.
• Interact with landowners and other stakeholders.
• Operate and inspect high-pressure pipelines and related equipment.
• Complete and maintain required reports and logs.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including overtime.
