Job summary

Chromalox in Utah is seeking a Hydro Tester to inspect boilers, tanks, fittings, and piping using compressed air or water pressure to identify leaks and ensure safety standards are met. You will install fittings, monitor gauges, perform electrical tests, and document results while working with a team to maintain quality and support TPM maintenance programs.

Strong attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read drawings, orders and instructions.
• Good math, communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Installs fittings and connects to high-pressure lines.
• Monitors gauges and checks for leaks under pressure.
• Performs electrical testing and marks leaks for repairs.
• Uses soap solution to locate leaks when needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and supports TPM.
• Keeps work area clean and participates in safety programs.
