Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installs fittings on objects to seal outlets and connects to high-pressure air or water lines.
• Activates air compressor or water pump to reach specified internal pressure.
• Observes gauge for pressure loss and inspects for leaks.
• Performs electrical testing and marks leak sources for repair.
• May apply soap solution or immerse objects to locate leaks.
• Ensures testing complies with ASME codes and safety standards.
