Job summary

SPX FLOW is seeking an Assembly Technician in Wisconsin to assemble, fit, test, and troubleshoot high voltage industrial homogenizers and related equipment. You will interpret drawings, use precision tools, and work with heavy machinery in a safety‑driven environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in mechanical assembly, knowledge of torque specs, and experience with cranes, hoists, or forklifts. Travel for training may be required. Immediate opportunity with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in mechanical assembly in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of torque specs, alignment, and pressure testing.
• Experience with cranes, hoists, and forklifts preferred.
• Electrical wiring and high-pressure vessel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and align mechanical components including pumps, valves, gearboxes, motors, and piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and precision instruments.
• Perform mechanical inspections and verify tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in process improvements.
