Qualifications

• 10+ years of safety, compliance, or RF engineering experience.
• Background in high-power RF safety for field or range testing.
• Experience coordinating transport and testing of large equipment (up to 1,000 lbs).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory bodies (e.g., FCC licensing).
• U.S. citizenship with active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel domestically about one week per month for ~9 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety procedures for high-power RF field and range tests.
• Evaluate field test locations, including land and maritime sites.
• Review and analyze engineering systems for safety and compliance.
• Coordinate transport, handling and testing of large equipment up to 1,000 lbs.
• Monitor and document compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Prepare FCC license requests and related regulatory documents with clients.
• Support field-test teams on-site to ensure safety protocols are followed.
